When does the seafood festival get too big for Belmar? This should be taking place at the fields at Monmouth Park Racetrack. When does this crowd of people and cars become a safety issue? Prisoner in my homes this weekend and don’t like it one bit.

Streets are all over saturated and god help any house fires, no fire truck can get through. The first aid is having plenary of problems. Public safety should always be the top concern of all

Very poor planning on traffic control, and no first aid tent????? The ambulance was going back and forth from their building and it became so bad they had to call for help from Avon and Spring Lake.Lots of tickets for blocked driveways hydrants etc.

The possible good of it may be that some of the councilmembers wake up and end the Seafood Festival.

Well at least Republican Candidate Burke is concerned, according to his post today. Unfortunately for Burke he trusted the Belmar.Com wwv site on Tourism Commission and post wrong information. Meetings are the last Wednesday of every month if they meet.
Joel was replaced by Danny White in January.#14. I cannot think of one current council member who will say anything about tis state of affairs.
Clearly there are safety issues. They were elected to deal with the health, welfare and safety PERIOD.

All I ever got from the Seafood Festival was indigestion from fried food and litter on my lawn, including used baby diapers. The last couple of years I scheduled vacations to include that weekend.

Just left Mass and it’s only 11:15. Cars stopped in center of intersection of 10th & Rt35 Only left lane could travel through the light. This was without the train being stopped at Station. A better traffic pattern needs to be developed.

One Avenue, say 11th, needs to be kept blocked off from traffic, only to be used by first aid and fire trucks.

So many ambulances mostly heatstroke types of medical events yesterday. It is so scary to think if there were a major catastrophe requiring numerous emergency vehicles to respond. Impossible.
