Hate to pick on the letter but…

“Public education for all is one of the fundamental American principles, and Democrats have preserved this right. ”

Does the author know what the Democrat party has done to inner cities and their school system? Do they know Obama actually shut down a successful school voucher system (District of Columbia)? All in the name of keeping Democrat teacher union voters happy?

Not to sure I agree on that point.

Sounds like “look at our intentions, not our results” kind of statement.

BRAVO AILEEN! Your support [and that of your husband] for the no vote on the pay to play fiasco concocted by our mayor and rubber stamped by council and now this richly deserved rebuke of the county democrat organization shows that integrity, while endangered , is not wholly absent. Keep it up,it is welcomed by many.

It’s refreshing to see a Democrat finally see what elected Democrats are all about. They (and many elected Republicans too) are all about themselves (except Jim Bean), keeping their grasp on the power, keeping the electorate fighting amongst themselves, and most off all the money. maybe Aileen didn’t see the fliers that went out when Dave and Tom were running but it has not changed. Every Democrat in charge uses the same playbook, Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and Cloward and Piven. Read those and your eyes will be truly opened.

Extra, Extra, Read All About It!!

Pick up the Coast Star to read the MANY letters endorsing Walsifer and Vallario, DiMaso and Arnone. Also Carol Bellisano writes another letter about the Walsifer attack ads.

Ever wonder what gave Claire or Matt or whomever it was the idea to blast Walsifer on his BOE voting record?

Probably the rabbit hole arguments published here about Belmar school back in August.

    Well said Aileen! Thank you
And Bill. You are absolutly right about the trashy, low down dirty negative mailers sent out by the Dems against Tom Burke and Dave Schneck.

Aileen: You have reminder the readers that we in Belmar are Bipartisan and not as gullible as some think we are.

It’s a disgrace that our seniors are being portrayed as sheepeople whose votes can be had for a drink.

Smart people are ok with tax increases for education….. Smart people realize that a good school systems help keep home values high…. Smart people look at the state test scores…. I am voting for Mark and Josh so that the power on the council is balanced… But I would not campaign on the success of our schools….

#8 – I won’t go into BES now. But the idea of “schooling” is outdated in our country. The administrators know it but because schools have become big business, they don’t want to change anything. Therefore, they will continue to churn out dullards for the foreseeable future.

#9…. The public school systems are preparing next generation of entitlement / welfare recipients… Also life time liberal voters…. Most townships are riddled with liberal BOE members that enforce this culture… Too many excuses from all elected officials…. Vote for change next Tuesday……
