Interesting… The borough attorney wanted them to reconsider and they didn’t take his advice. Who is calling the shots there?
Uh why listen to somebody that you are paying $445.00/hour ? What the heck would he know?

a workshop session vote doesn’t count.
Watching the video of the vote, it doesn’t seem like a ‘no’ vote was the intended outcome. The ‘tie goes to the no’ question and the ensuing discussion and reaction looked to me like they were expecting it to pass.

I think that Nicolay and Brennan simply wanted to appear more sympathetic to the Harmons position because they are being sued as individuals as well as Belmar officials. (See, we’re not so bad.) Walsifer is not being sued and Magovern only as an official, not personally.
#6 – And we, the taxpayers, pay for all of this incompetence!
