Mayor – stop worrying about “them” suing and shut down all non-resident parking now, throughout the entire town. Let “them” sue.

#1 – Sir, there’s no problem with parking right now. So we don’t need more government restrictions on people no matter where they’re from.

It’s amazing how fear creates a trust and dependence on government regulation even when that regulation historically has been a failure

We should terminate all shared services with Spring Lake. Apparently they would rather be sovereign and could care less about how their actions affect neighboring towns.

#5 Maybe they, Jewish people, should follow protocol. That would be an above average accomplishment for them.

And speaking of shared services. Lake Como is advertising in Coast Star, that their property taxes will be reduced AGAIN, this time by 4% for the coming year. When are the tax payers of this town going to revolt and say enough is enough with our tax increases. We saved Lake Como by bailing out their police services and allowing them to cut costs. Apparently it is at our expense. I guess the price of patrolling their streets is rather cheap. Enough of this BS. Renegotiate these shared service contract so that our taxes can also go down two years in a row.

    #7 agreed,
#5 Alot of traditions for people celebrating the Easter holiday season had to be altered as well, and we did what we had to do with out disregarding the rules set up to protect the health of the entire community. That was the problem with Lakewood community, they saw no issue and almost saw it as their right to do whatever they pleased no matter who it compromised in the process. Not fair. So for mayors to want to avoid the spread they have to keep us safe. They were coming in flocks.

The reason the numbers in Monmouth and Ocean county are rising and not leveling off is because of the Jews in Lakewood not practicing social distancing and not caring about anyone else but themselves. That’s the sad truth.

The Germanic tribes from PA Amish country are surely welcome in Belmar right? They don’t practice self isolation/interacting like other religious sects coming to the shore do they, hypocrites? Why not spread your prejudicial beliefs elsewhere and then go after the creeps who roam the streets publicly defying the rule of law every sunny day from here on in. Let them the fu Tony’s and mates puke, urinate and fornicate all they want at your doorsteps day and night. Oh and their nonstop filthy mouths, that’s ok too, right? ACLU’S invitational opening soon.

Once again, I have to figure things out. The way to keep people away from the boardwalk is to put speakers up all along the boardwalk and play Beethoven, Strause, Mozart, Vivaldi, Wagner, Mozart, etc. all day long. I assure you, very few people will venture to Ocean Ave. It works great driving teenagers away from 7-11 stores.

#13 I think a giant difference between those who live in Lakewood and those who are Amish is the Amish are self sufficient. They are not on welfare ,food stamps, or any government assisted programs. They grow their own food ,own their land and take care of each other. The main difference is if you get a boatload of money and the state pays for your life the least you can do is follow the laws during a pandemic.Everyone is welcome to Belmar , but if you live in NJ follow the laws.Be apart of the solution not the problem.

#15- Bravo. Thank you. Half of those Lakewood cowboys should have went to jail a couple of years ago when they got caught scamming the system. Instead the nut-less, cowardly politicians of this state gave them immunity. I am tired of this whole selfish cult. Scum. Just look at the numbers that keep climbing in Lakewood as the majority of us follow the laws and shelter in place for the good of humanity. They could care less.

Amen 15 & 16. I am not racist but the jewish women are forced to marry at very young ages and are told to have as many children as God will give them. They know how to beat the system inside and out. Their marriages aren’t recognized by our laws so even though they are married within their laws, our government gives them food stamps, housing medical and god knows what else. The more children, the more assistance. All their buildings are religious so they dont pay taxes. Most of the men dont work. They just go from place to place to pray all day. How do they live with no income? I’ve seen dozens of them drop their kids off at houses that I’m sure are unregistered day care centers. I work in Lakewood and could go on and on. You wouldn’t believe it unless you saw it.
