What’s up with the planning board’s recommendation about the easement? Wann, a planning board member, was silent and passive and Walsifer seemed taken aback. Makes one wonder about communication and trust. Is this former administration business rearing its head or present blunder? Come on, I want to believe!
I dont know Tina but I wish her well. What annoys the hell out of me is why did the taxpayers pay for Huisman to go to the FBI academy? What did the citizens get out of it? Who did it benefit? Beside him and his fat wallet? Can anyone answer this? I hope Tina can straighten that place out.
Awl ov Belmar should be proud of the first female woman police chief. When her tenyour is completed, I look forward to Belmar beeing the first munycipality to seleckt the first K9 police chief. The rest of the state will bee green with envie.

#14 I’m not a cop in town you fool. I know nothing concerning her back round. I thought all those who believe this is the best thing since sliced bread speak up. What was her score on the FBI test? Any of you proponents of this please answer. BTW my age is 83 and just an average Joe asking some pointed questions. Don’t even live there.
Chief Scott did not take an FBI test. She took the test required by Civil Service to be named Chief. She scored in the top of her class. As for her service to the town, yes she has done detective work, she was a detective at one time. She was also a Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. She worked her way honorably to the top position in the town, one that is very well deserved for all of her years of hard work and dedication to the residents of this town.
Let’s all get behind her and wish her well in a position she is sure to excel in.

Can’t believe that there are anything but positive remarks about Chief Tina Scott. She is an outstanding police officer who is so deserving of this appointment. Tina carried out her duties with dedication and commitment to the people of Belmar. No one is more deserving of the honor now bestowed on her. I have great confidence in Tina as she takes on this position. She is a sincere and caring person.

I remember 19yrs ago when she first started and we just moved here she always would stop and say hello and if there was anything we wanted to know or need just give her a call. That did happen and she was right there. I wish you the best and may you keep up the good work. You being Chief was well deserved. Congratulations.

Getting back to that video (#25) that the young woman (28) got so upset about. It was a video made to help women. Especially to help them keep from becoming spinsters. If a woman lets it be known before marriage she’s thinking dangerous thoughts, no man will want to marry them and they’ll become like those overeducated harridans in the video – and grow beards.

#42 – I’m only trying to help women be marriageable. I don’t want them to grow up to be spinsters. Possibly 15-16 would be a good age for their parents to marry them off, with a good dowry of course. Maybe legislation could be made to provide the daughters of poor people with state funded dowries so they could have a chance at being married two.

I guess Acting Phoney Chief Houseman didnt pay attention too much in the taxpayer funded FBI academy or he would have passed the chiefs test. The only thing that got boosted is his resume. Good riddance to him.
How else should the FBI academy be funded? Egads!
I never liked those FBI slobs when I trained them. There wasn’t one in ten of them who could shoot worth a damn.
