Cruz Bay, Beachfront Workers Feel Entitled

The photo in the previous post was actually taken last Saturday. But one of my readers went up to the boardwalk today and snapped these.

Let me start by saying” I’m anti-Doherty”. With that said, I must say I am truly disappointed in all you past loudmouths on this blog over the past several years bringing suit after suit after petition, and now dare say anything positive about how this newly elected team of do-nothings have performed. How much longer until you start bashing this new regime. I say you should start today. Vote these people out.

Let’s all put signs up and say we work at the cruz bay cafe!or where we really work ? Why can’t I park for FREE? Again If they are not going to enforce the rules ,Don’t make them. With the town 36 million dollars in debt we aren’t charging for parking for employees working the boardwalk? Ask Meri makers to pay.Lunacy

When contract is up, we need to dump MM. It’s absolute nonsense that we have to deal with these people using our “totally 100% free community center for the people of Belmar because we deserve it! After Sandy damaged the Taylor pavilion and I, king Matt, had it torn down based on my expert personal assessment that the building was no longer structurally sound, we need a pavilion now. Right now! One with two stories and a roof top miniature golf course. Wait, that’s politically untenable? OK make it smaller but keep the price around the same. Yes and since it’s free, totally free, it doesn’t matter” for their own personal gain. They are what you would call bad tenants. We are on the hook for the inflated cost of that fancy barn so let’s rent the space to a local business and make them follow the rules. If MM wants the pavilion for a wedding, they produce and deposit check and signatures like everyone else.
