I spoke to a few employees at the Anchor, and asked them what they thought of the competition of Pier 9 and the Marina Grill and all said the same thing. It doesn’t make sense, besides the lack of parking, there is not enough people to support all 3 as Belmar is so small in area.
I guess they’ll be fired soon.
Would rather have Salt owned by locals, than places owned by huge companies.
There parking at marina will be FUBAR

No oversize building at marina
No civil rights violations at beach front
No $40 million debt

Belmar would be a different place.

Now, the monstrosity at the marina is being promoted a entertainment center with booze. Other towns don’t want this crap and Belmar is like a magnet.
