#1 I agree, it was a very fishy election. I’m so angry the Gov. Murphy is taking away our right to vote at a polling location. We can go to stores, the beach, restaurants but we can’t vote in person. It’s ridiclous. It’s going to turn this election into a nightmare. They will do anything to corrupt this election. Thanks Murphy!

#2. Is that correct? We can’t vote in person this fall?

All of New Jersey is being sent mail-in ballots. There will be limited polling places which the Monmouth County Clerk will have on their website sometime in October. If you wish to vote at a polling place you have to cast a provisional ballot. All the information is on https://www.monmouthcountyvotes.com/

I know that theres some sentiment on here about moving on from the Dougherty years. But did anyone who actually read this article and knows the players involved honestly believe that this “anonymous” subject wasn’t at least involved in Belmar’s past elections or even worse, an active political operative of Maggie Moran’s democratic lobbying machine?

    Insanity.

Next they’ll make us submit our taxes by mail, oh wait…..
Listen folks, if you want to go to a polling place rather than vote by mail, an option that you’ve always had (used to be called absentee voting), go right ahead. It’s still available. And it’s good you want to be there in person because I bet they need volunteers. How many young people do you notice working the polls? And how many older volunteers said no way to this year’s indoor, multi-hour job with close contact to people handing out pens to sign the book and paper to get into the booth…plenty of time to catch a droplet of your fellow American’s Covid-19 germs?
As for voter fraud – it’s a drop in an olympic sized pool compared to voter suppression, which is what’s happening now and why you see the propaganda about vote by mail danger.

There’s a huge difference between traditional absentee ballots, which have to be applied for and are at least somewhat monitored, and flooding the country’s mailboxes with tens of millions of actual ballots. In states that sent out ballots to everybody during the primaries, the Post Office actually forwarded the ballots of people who had moved to their new addresses IN OTHER STATES. Judicial Watch has had to sue many counties and states to get them to cleanse their voter rolls of people who had moved or died. They uncovered several jurisdictions that had more registered voters than residents eligible to vote. Tens and hundreds of thousands more.

The worst thing we could do right now is to experiment with an entirely new way of voting that nobody trusts. Civil war would be worse than covid.

7, can you give an example of voter suppression? I am interested in how it occurs. If it’s true I would be very against it.

New Hampshire held its primaries yesterday for governor, U.S. Senate, and state legislature. (Our 1st in the nation presidential primary is too early for these races.)

Polls were very safe and orderly, much less crowded than the supermarkets and liquor stores. Photo ID required up here.

Again, using traditional absentee ballots is a completely different thing than mailing actual ballots willy nilly to every address that someone at some time voted from. The left does everything it can to blur the distinction.

Please post the articles showing this forwarding problem. I’m truly interested and certainly don’t want fraud.

But please also don’t say traditional absentee ballots as if they are different in any way from the ballots being mailed now. It’s exactly the same ballot, same instructions, same protocol all around.

    19. Absentee ballets in no way are the same as universal ballots. In the absentee case the VOTER must REQUEST a ballot. There are safe guards in place at board of election to ensure that the voter is registered and legal to vote. NOT SO with everyone getting a ballot. The voting roles are notoriously out dated. Many many ballots will be sent to people who moved and or died and have not been removed. At the last presidential election there were 40,000 absentee ballots with in Monmouth County’s. With this Executive Order by Governor Murphy, there will be over FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND!!!!!
The primary took over a month to certify results, and hardly anyone even votes in the primary! Not to mention the NJ Legislators were not involved at all in this decision. A change of this magnitude should have been debated in public and not implemented with the stroke of one politician’s pen. Giving only 3 months preparation is preposterous. And I’m not even going into the safety issue. That argument holds absolutely no water. If people can go to the beach in the thousands, shop and work at Costco etc in the thousands, deliver our mail, pump our gas, wait tables, work in “essential” jobs then I believe we can mask up, socially distance and vote at the polls. BUT…….and Noreen your point about going to the polls anyway….., though well intentioned, is NOT suggested. Get your mail in ballot filled out properly and returned through the post Office as SOON as you get it. If you go to the polls you will NOT be allowed to vote in the machine. Your vote will be provisional only. That means it will be counted LAST. Way after all the mail-ins. It will go through a lot of hands. Originally the Bd of Elec had 17 days(!) to count all the ballots. After much push back because of the crazy amount of ballots to be counted Murphy changed it till end of November!!!!!

Think about all those “summer” renters who voted via Djais influencers in the past elections. Don’t know if those people will VOTE for xy or z but they may VOTE even if they don’t live there anymore or ever lived there anyway.
