Regarding the Athletic Field @ Maclearie Park Brennan and Vallario are both wrong and guilty of not paying attention. As many of you know, I helped to organize the Maclearie Park Neighborhood Assn. We fought to preserve the athletic field but lost after several years. Refencing is in violation now of Belmar’s revised and approved C.A.F.R.A. plan on file with NJ DEP. What is approved and funding awarded for are parking spaces ( grass pavers and a new road going from the light at L Street down to the end. Thousands of dollars to Maser and bonded on the 2013 Marina Repair Bond have already been spent. So even if they once again!!! revise the revised C.A.F.R.A. plans you cannot celebrate the small savings on a chain link fence. Do the math 2013 Birdsall plans, 2014 Maser Plans, 2015 CAFRA redo easily Belmar just wasted ( like all those pavilions never built a hefty $50,000.00. So your both out to lunch on this one.

Brennan “ one thing we don’t want here in Belmar is wasted time and money”. That’s a good one a real knee slapper. Please Tom wake up. Take the shades off instead of hiding behind them. You are part of the status quo and voting element in which wasted time and money are your middle names. Anyone reading this should be laughing right along with such comment.

Big Government is the rallying cry for tainted leadership in NJ but only for those that get those plum, overpaid jobs. Those individuals are singing the praises of Big Government as long as they are on the reaping line. Unless you are on the receiving end of crazy benefits you’re scratching your head saying why do I have to pay triple deductibles and increased premiums for my healthcare and pay all my taxes and not get the benefits received by government recipients? Sounds more socialistic to many of us following the big and small races in NJ.

JUST READ THE Hutch manifesto on behalf of Brennan candidates you trump supporters.

This is a perfect example of why you should vote for Josh and be happy that Brennan is not your child’s math teacher. Tom states that the fence is just under $1 per linear foot, and at $75,000.00 that would cover 14.2 miles. You could circle the entire town of Belmar over 3 times with that much fence! I’m very skeptical of this project and the cost. Tom Brennan is in way over his head when commenting about this project. After all, he received his information from the liars in chief.

Chain link fence needs on-going maintenance for safety and a useful life of 25 years.

Unless damaged by Sandy or 25 years old …. lack of maintenance is the issue.

The wonder kids in Belmar wrecked most of the fencing. Kids range anywhere from 0-55 depending on ones level of intelligence. #7 I agree………….. but sadly true.

#10. I got that BUT when standing next to that field @Maclearie Park, red lights should have gone off. It is an opportunity for you to let Brennan have it. In 2012 for instance council approved the miniature golf and 8th Ave. Pier Bar and then got hit with violations of the then CAFRA Plan on file. A fence there will be in violation of the revised 2015 CAFRA plan created to keep the above legal. Can’t make this stuff up Josh. NOW why is Belmar finally replacing all fencing in the first place? If you would do your homework like an OPRA for all NJ DEP/Greenacre violations by Belmar on funded parks and playgrounds…They are years behind complying with State Law NJAC 7:36-25.1 (a). You have been so busy showing off your previous construction knowledge you missed the big picture years of repeated violations on State funded parks and playgrounds. Again you want to hit Brennan hard?

So to noted on the bemar dems page $27.75/LF. I have a non-union estimate for $14/LF powder coated 6′ or$13/LF galvanized 6′. Gates are $175 each – we probably need 16 of them. This is labor and material. Vendor has GL and WC insurance… totalt for most expensive option is $32,000. Add 20% union upcharge and we are still almost half of $75,000 award…
