Thank You for the trip down memory lane.
It was great to hear Steve Edelman’s voice in the beginning. I promised to be Steve for the work ahead and after his passing. For the record I did meet with and testify to the fact that the meeting on 1/30/13 was in violation of the Sunshine Law via Monmouth Cty Prosecutor. I believe that this important Board of Adjustment Meeting which has yet to appear in the CoastStar
will also be in violation and
will be happy to do the same.

I was in error with my post. The applicant ( D’Jais) by Municipal Land Use Law, notify in papers, as well as by certified mail to property owners within 200 feet their notice for application of variance at least 10 DAYS prior to hearing (Jan.13,2014.)

Most curious was the Mayor’s request for Dave Schneck to turn off video prior to the Mayor and Council’s illegal meeting, which immediately followed the planning board meeeting.
See minutes Mayor and Council Meeting 1/30
online @Belmar.com. Clerk April Claudio states that it was a “regular meeting”. She further states that the Mayor and Council meeting had prior legal notices posted and in paper. REALLY? No one and many who spoke were not identified and so on. Finally when were these bogus minutes of the Special not advertised meeting approved by the vote of the Council

Just keep letting out more rope for the Mayor. He’ll sooner or later trip himself up.
