Have no fear, Hurricane chaser Lawless Matt in charge with numerous photo-ops at the beach. Get ready for another rain storm to break the $50 million dollar debt mark. An opportunity for more wasteful spending, all in the name of “Lawless Matt for President.”

Are sandbags available at Borough Hall? Seems that would be the least they could do since the promised pipe installation in the South End has not happened. Guess the mayor could not figure out how to make a buck off that project. I wonder if the waves will overfill the lagoon at Inlet Terrace.

So far it looks like the storm’s damage will probably miss Belmar. Sorry, Mr. Mayor, you will not be able to hire any of your “preferred” contractors to repair and rebuild at inflated prices. Alas and alack!

Sorry Matt, you can’t be a hero this storm. I’m sure it still cost us a pretty penny with M. Campbell’s OT rate at about $140 an hour, along with the upper admin. of the PD. Matt gives them all a blank check, it’s not his money.

Hey I heard a rumor that one of Belmar’s finest made 300k with overtime last year, is this true?

Well check out 2015 Salaries, Daves post of 1/14/15. ie. Capt. Huiesman, now Chief, made $193k in 2015, base salary of about $130k. And trust me that as Chief, he will still be making a lot more in OVERTIME. Blank check by Matt and crew. Vote them out, one by one, two by two.

#5: Did the sandbags you referred to leak onto POKEMAN PARK?

#15 I have not been over by the “park” but it would make sense that sandbags would be used for something silly and not be available to protect homes by the water. Priorities in this town are questionable.
