Pocket veto explained on NJ Legislature website:

POCKET VETO The only type of veto in which the Governor does not return the bill to the Legislature for a possible vote to override. This veto applies only to bills passed within the last 10 days of a 2-year legislative session. The Governor, in essence, “pockets” the bill.

    Well, I guess Chris is serious about appearing to be a viable conservative to the voters in Iowa and New Hampshire. You know his statements on “Jersey Shore”. He was probably afraid that all those drinking photos with Matt at D’Jais would end up in campaign ads from his GOP rivals. I would.
