And those dopes all voted YES to retaining the DPW head for 3, not 1, but 3 more years. Great job gang, 100 days in office and still no solutions.

This is absolutely disgusting and should be a #1 priority to fix! Unfortunately the damage is done. That L Street beach should be closed! Years of neglect!!!!!

#1 Agree 100%. This problem has been in existence for years and nothing has been done to fix it.

Mike Campbell should be relieved of his duties immediately. Enough of the mayor and council telling public works how great they are because they cleaned up after the parade or plowed the streets. Based on the state report, the real problems haven’t been addressed at all. Rehiring Campbell was a terrible decision.

What an absolute shame. Where is the accountability? There should be repercussions for those responsible and immediate actions taken to fix this problem. Enough pussyfooting around!

#6- Don’t forget the fantastic job he does on the illegal dunes. MARINA GRILL, keep flushing those toilets it eventually ends up on your doorstep. But hey, why should they care. They don’t pay for water and sewer anyway. The people of Belmar pay for it, all in the name of more profits for Chef’s.

Belmar worked against its own recovery. Instead of blaming and pointing fingers at the so-called element, aim the mirror at the former administration. They were voted out, so who is left holding the bag? Think twice about dining outdoors at the marina, the stink may overwhelm you, but there may be more parking. That’s good, right? See, I’m not negative.
