I Find For The Plaintiff

Maser being sued?

An interesting agenda item:

If there is a lawsuit filed I’ll get a copy of it.

Here is the rest of Tuesday’s agenda:

Here’s an item for the agenda, I received two identical tax bills in the mail. Does that mean my property taxes just went up 100%?

Oh no no no Tubby. This is your lucky day. You should be happy to know your taxes really only went up 11%. And they did and will continue to blame the prior admin. for the increase, rather than grow a pair of bells and make the necessary cuts that are needed. Cut the fat, cut the pork. This budget compared to other towns our size are way out of control. Vote them out. Bye Bye. Maybe you(soon to be former council people) can suck up to our former mayor and get a job with the State.

I’d like to know where the shade tree commission stands on shade for the playgrounds in town? Neither Mr. Brown’s park at the marina nor Mrs. McGovern’s butterfly park have shaded areas where the kids can play. And all of those beach playgrounds off the boardwalk – no shade either. I know Brian McGovern was pro-skin cancer with his opinions and fights on about being a lifeguard when he was younger and getting skin cancer so ban the tents on the beach. But seriously, is it just a beautification committee? Provide shade for our kids.

    Possible scenario:

Maser: Doherty said all is ok, trust him.

Doherty: Colleen was in charge, given authority to act in my behalf.

Colleen: I thought I could dance through this matter with ease. Matt would catch me when I did a fancy leap. (Envision ballet pas de deux here in which he drops her to the floor.)

Maser: They set us up. No more contributions for you! (Psst, Mattie old pal, lotsa jobs for us in A.C., right?)

And where is Colleen? Doherty displays his tight-lipped smirk now. Maser remembers Birdsall. Next case please…

#6, who is the part timer on council? I thought in order to run Belmar had to be your registered home?
