With employment levels at record lows and still sinking due to the disastrous economic and regulatory policies of Obama, his predecessors and successive congresses, maybe it’s time to outsource Labor Day to the Chinese. It just doesn’t make much sense to celebrate American labor when so few of us have jobs, especially productive jobs. Since the Chinese are now doing most of the work, it’s logical that they should enjoy the Labor Day holiday instead of us.
Now I enjoy having a long weekend at the end of summer as much as anyone, so I propose a holiday to replace Labor Day, a new holiday more in tune with the times. Can you guess what it is? Of course! Unemployment Day!
