It’s Not The Weather, It’s The Fed

What the government’s economists fail to recognize, or simply won’t admit, is that rising stock prices and rising food prices are two sides of the same coin. The Fed is quick to take credit for the former but to the extent that they even admit food and energy is costing more they blame it on the weather.

There is always weather. Bad weather might cause a temporary spike in the cost of this or that but that’s not what we are seeing now. All food has been steadily rising, and for a number of years.

Inflating food and energy prices doesn’t hurt the rich. It hurts the middle class and the poor. On the contrary, rising stock stock prices does little for the middle class and nothing for the poor. Sure benefits the rich though.

Obama pretends to be the champion of the poor and the middle class. The reality is that his policies are killing us.
