Great job Jade. I’m not sure the winner being a super pretty white girl can be considered ‘woke’. Not to mention the oxymoronic weight of the phrase ‘woke beauty contest’.

It did look more like a reality show than a pageant.

It’s a beauty pageant. The entire thing was started so that men could ogle girls in bathing suits under the guise of some kind of important representation of womanhood. It’s nonsense.
Awoke,I read that until this last Miss
America all 5 major pageant titles were held by Woman of
African decent. Are we to be so awoke that we become unfair to others based on race.
#8 – What’s wrong with ogling girls? It’s an art form going back to the dawn of recorded history. Actually, I think there should be an ogling competition. Of course, there should be different categories. Men my age shouldn’t be in competition with young men. So I recommend different categories of competition where only men in their mid-seventies and upward can compete. We ogle too, but are not as flagrant about the whole thing as young men.
#10- great idea. How about a companion show where men over 70 stand on a lighted stage and women of all ages judge you and enthusiastically point out all of your flaws? Huge hit.
