Keep The Rolaids Handy

Douglass College political science professors Maggie Moran and Mike Duhaime discuss Trump’s election victory.

At one point, in response to a question from a member of the audience, Moran describes what is happening in Oakland and other cities as “rallies”……

……by well meaning people on the left concerned about fascism coming to America.

screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-4-18-36-amFascism is coming!  We need to turn communist!

She also referred to Trump’s “locker room talk” about women as “rhetoric” and as some sort of campaign tactic and how terrible it is that children had to hear about “the p word”.  This actually made my head explode.  The “locker room talk” she referred to happened 11 years ago and was what Trump thought was a private conversation.  Reporter Billy Bush betrayed Trump’s confidence and gave a tape he made of it to the media, which then shared it with the rest of the country.  Moran acts like he said those things in a campaign speech.

“Republican” Duhaime was completely useless throughout.  He did not correct a single one of Moran’s misleading or unfair statements.  And there were lots and lots of them.

One interesting thing revealed…….Maggie’s sister voted for Trump!

If she knows so much and is an “expert” politico, why is her husband 0-2 when he ran for Assembly and Freeholder ? She brings nothing to the table.

If she lives in Monmouth County, her sister probably voted for Arnone and DiMaso also.

Just a few things here. The so-called Republican is just another RINO while Ms Moran is an unapologetic Democrat. He’s looking to get-along (how many times did he use the word compromise?) and she’s looking to get her way. Nothing new there.

Just a couple of things. It’s my view the polls were never “wrong.” They were always doctored to make it look like billary was a sure winner. What the media (they’re inexperience people of spoken and written words) didn’t understand was the depth of support of Trump. Come hell or high water, the Trump supporters were going to the polls and vote. That’s what I got from walking around with my signs. I was happily stunned by the depth of Trump’s support.

As far as Ms Moran’s take on Trump’s anti-globalist trade ideas, he’s a Republican in the concept of Lincoln. Lincoln was very much for the idea of Tariffs to protect our industry. Already, Ford is backing away from their idea of relocating a plant in Mexico – pretty quick results.

Lastly, about these protests, clearly the young people don’t know history or the idea of “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” They should look back and ponder the “Hardhat riot” of 1970 in downtown NYC. Those young people got a hard lesson in opposite reaction. Possibly, the professors nowadays were on the receiving end of that hard lesson all those years ago and have forgotten their lesson and are telling these poor young people to go out and learn by experience how cruel life can be.

The RINO is just a worm who no one can count on. I’d guess his hero’s are Paul Ryan and a certain known “Republican” quisling who resides right here in Belmar.

The number of lawn signs in Belmar clearly predicted the outcome of the Presidential election with confidence.

So Maggie Morgan’s company makes millions of dollars calling her political opponents negative names then she has the nerve to preach about Trumps rhetoric? The mailer about the gambling vote where the old people are going to starve, her husbands Matt Dorehty description of those who do not like his leadership as against recovery, the element, terrorists, obstructionists. What an absolute hypocrite she is. She makes a ton of money doing the exact thing she claims is so awful.

Smart woman who pimps out her husband for political money. Trump will raise or standard of living, to the point that households will only require one income to survive, sort of like our mayor’s. Although we all can’t live on Inlet Terr., not enough houses, unless Matt rezones it for condos.

One last shot at this “debate” with Ms Moran and the “Republican.” Of course, she unabashedly sticks to her guns while he continues with the malarkey of what got us into this horrible position in the first place. When we think of candidates we never support people who sound like Duhaime. He, and those who sound like him have been stabbing us in the back for fifty years now. Support only those candidates who come out firmly for what is good for our town, county, state, nation etc. If a person like Reagan, Romney, McCain, Bush, etc. (All cited by Ms Moran as acceptable Republicans) comes along, don’t vote for them. They will invariably stab us in the back as they’ve always done.
