In case you haven’t realized it yet the unions caused GM, MERK, CIBA, BRISTOL MYERS, ETC to leave NJ. I know they are on our planet now. Ask Steve Sweeny how the Iron Workers Union is doing……

Under siege? Of course. My neighbor who already pay very high property taxes is one of the 17% who will be voting YES on
Tuesday . At least he signed the petition.
I am a retired N.J. School Teacher, like many others, I will be voting NO.
After all, I had no choice- as soon as a school district hires you. the union dues are taken out of your paycheck. At least, on Tuesday, I get to choose.

From day one it was my belief that when it came to the pavilions the mayor really didn’t care about the taxpayer. He only cared/cares about making money for the professionals and the unions. This leaves no doubt. Vote NO

All the Belmar residents working on the pavilions should vote yes and all the Belmar residents PAYING the inflated cost should vote NO. At least we have clarity on which Family Mayor Doherty represents!!!!!

OK, I am ready to list my house and get out of here. Sorry I’ll be one of those rats leaving the sinking ship. Any realtor recommendations? Must vote no to get my listing.

Don’t worry not all people who are forced to join a union are happy about it. I know of people who work for the Boro who are voting “NO” but are afraid to express it for fear of losing their jobs. I hope that sometime in the future we can try to get a right to earn a living law in Belmar.
