Let’s keep stirring the pot about the Doherty family. This information about the house is encouraging negative comments. Comments 1 and 3 are negative remarks. I’m sure there will be more to come..focusing on such a practice is hurtful, regardless of who is in the center f it. And 3, both Matt and Maggie have good incomes. Who tells you how to spend your money, #3?
Yes, they have good incomes on the heels of the taxpayers. I would bet fat Matt hasn’t worked in months due to corona virus, not that he ever worked a day in his life. He is a loser who only survives because of his wife’s connections.

As for some of the other comments, same old haters on everything, but the truth is taxes in belmar didn’t go up in eight years at some point they were going to increase, but you had many years without an increase. Most people coming in to belmar are buying and building single family homes, and most lots are expensive and people who have the ability to buy and build only help our community, the boroughs tax rateables increase due to new construction and the increased value. That will help your community and the borough not hurt it.

#30- if he already has a permit to build then he has submitted and doesnt need a variance because its to code. If you arent asking for variance relief you do not need to go to the board. But you wouldn’t get a building permit to build something if you needed variance relief. I do not even know why I am engaging in this nonsense because half of you only want to complain and you dont listen to facts you make up your own. This thread and topic certainly falls under “trying to find and create a problem where none is”. very disappointed in the blog for this type of thing, usually even if I disagree I can respect the topic, this is really really out of line.
