Mayor Disses Me At Town Hall Meeting

As I mentioned, my tape of this month’s town hall meeting ended before the meeting ended and so I missed taping this enlightening exchange between the mayor and myself.  I noticed this morning that the town’s tape of the meeting, which thankfully did include the entire meeting, has only collected 11 views so far (my version has garnered 117 views.)  Since I don’t have anything else to share with you this morning and since only 11 people have witnessed this exchange aside from the people in attendance, I taped it off the screen and loaded it to YouTube:

Seems like an attempt to suppress the effect of free speech. The mayor’s laugh at the end was an attempt to diffuse any potential objection and minimize the meaning of Dave’s comment. The whole scene was not funny at all. Who was laughing?

This is why the Democratic Party will never win if they don’t change their tactics. To get respect you have to give respect. The Mayor should have answered Dave’s question not just because he is a resident and taxpayer, it just shows respect. The democratic party from Hillary on down have chosen to attack anyone who does not agree with their agenda or questions them. This is OK for the benefit of the fellow Democrats but they must win over the independents and some Republicans if they ever expect to win elections. They are just making fools of themselves in the eyes of the non Democratic members and that if continues, will be a fatal mistake for the party.

#5 Exactly and right on! As per Hillary’s insider speech to Wall Street, keep the public distracted and “dumb down” the information given to them. Rather elitist, no? I am not so optimistic, however, that the politicians will change their methods. And the sheepeople keep laughing while they tumble blindly over the cliff.

I agree also. The Democrats should all move to Newark, Detroit, Chicago, or Baltimore so they can see what a fine job they have done in the past.

Dave. Were the people laughing in disbelief of his unbelievably arrogant response (or lack of) or are they his drinking buddies? Absolutely shameful. I’m sorry for the disrespect you received from this disgraceful politician.
