But he didn’t know anything about it, right? He has nothing to talk about at council meetings, right? Matt you’re a lawless lying disregret of a mayor. You’ve done nothing but take advantage of Belmar for your own political needs.

Doherty only goes where there is a photo op. Our council should be held responsible for all of these misdeeds. Why aren’t we holding them responsible instead of always blaming Doherty only. Colleen knew about copter landing and high tailed it out of there instead of telling the truth. Our council is complicit in all of these events. Let’s remember that in November. Also VOTE NO on September 27 at the referendum. Just think of all of your money these people are spending trying to circumvent the law for their own purposes. The residents trying trying trying to show the truth are NOT having fun, are taking a ton of abuse and really need all of you to speak out. Vote No September 27th against the manipulation of our pay to play ordinances.

#7 With the form of government strong
Mayor Weak Council the Council really can’t do anything they have to have the government changed. We are 1 of 2 with this form of government in the state. Ken brought in the first one. I bet he knows how to get rid of it. But when it gets to the time that the people have really had it it will happen.

I get that. But please don’t tell me that exempts the sitting council from having independent thought or voting on things that they openly say they do not understand. Or denying the residents their right to petition. The list goes on and on

Speaking of Independents, a certain long-time registered Independent changed party affiliation in order to run as the Republican candidate for Belmar Council five long months ago. Nobody I know knows who he is and that he is running. All I am saying is if your are going to run, at least make sure people know who you are before they pull the leaver for the others who we know their name….

#8 you are quite correct that in our form of government the council people have limited power[one reason you better make a good choice in electing a Mayor] but to #7’s point this does not absolve the council of any responsibility and certainly they have mouths and the ability to say so when they disagree with the actions of the Mayor, and in the absence of opposing things such as ‘an emergent appeal’ one can only conclude they agree with the mayors course of action at great expense to the taxpayers for something that will not benefit taxpayers but might/maybe help the mayor.

COULD THIS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AT THE SAME TIME HIS CAR WAS ILLEGALLY PARKED AT LA DOLCE VITA?

NICE TO SEE HE HAS TIME FOR THIS YET HE CAN’T STAY AT A COUNCIL MEETING. NO DOUBT HE LEFT TO GO PARTY WITH THE BELMAR PD.
