Is this appeal done by the Boro’s insurance company, or are they that arrogant?

And what good comes out of appealing this? Borough won’t have to pay attorney fees? Is that it?

It does not “look good” to have denied the civil rights of the public. Not very liberal. Keeping up appearances is the name of this game, I would say. Wounded pride of the fearless leader…

Referring to the description of the Belmar Democrats in charge, I will add that they are power hungry with no conscience, easily bought off for some type of gain or ego boost; superficial individuals who want to be on a bandwagon of similar people who feed off of an us versus them mentality. “We won, you lost” is what nourishes them.

The current mayor and council are passive aggressives and have an agenda that is self-serving…. They are also very smart and I think we under estimate how clever and cunning they are because they continue to win election…. Lets hope that changes tomorrow…. Go Mark & Josh!!!!!!

We need a new ordinance that basically outlines that actions taken by the mayor, council, and administrator…resulting in a legal judgement against them that THEY wish to contest … will be on their own dime.

Because of Belmar, I have had the pleasure ( I mean this ) of being in Judge Gummer’s courtroom. Rarely have I witnessed such an informed and detail -oriented judge. The idea of challenging her is therefore for show and appearance. Judge Gummer is so thorough that I doubt she will never have a decision of hers reversed. WHAT TOTAL NONSENSE. This is true whether I agreed or not with her decision.
