Union Cash To The Democrats

Over $10 Grand on this one!

Note that the $7200 gift from LIUNA came only a few weeks after the “Responsible Bidder” ordinance was passed.  Is this even legal?

Didn’t deliver a “YES” vote …. a bad return on investment (ROI). Maybe the good mayor can sell them Buy-A-Board? …. but, watch-out for the sharp edges!

I threw it away but if I recall, the silly letter Claire Deicke sent me was paid for by the Belmar Democratic Conmittee. So basically the unions paid for the letter. Where does it end ?!

regarding items 2 and 3 on this list….aren’t PAC (Political Action Committee)donations against Belmar Borough regulations? The administrator and me were not allowed to take such donations last year from state assemblymen and senators. Belmar requires that the names of all donations be listed, and in a PAC no-one knows who made those contributions. But with donations of this size, I guess it is just as easy to accept the money, and use it to pay the fine it may generate…..level playing table, right.

When you think about the number of people that are out of work because there is no work for them. Benefits are being cut. Union halls have closed. Unemployment benefits are running out. How does Local IBEW 400 justify a $3000 donation to the Democratic campaign?

Because they have plenty of reserve $$$. Not interested in getting people back to work. Their main concern is getting Democrats in office. Things are different now…They don’t want to realize that fact…

Anonymous-Gee, many people have reached out to me (wasn’t fishing for compliments) who told me they liked the letter, as it stated what they were feeling about the attacks on Matt and his wife-have received letters by regular mail as well as e-mail-I don’t know most of the people who’ve expressed that they support what I expressed in the letter-perhaps you had difficulty understanding it….that’s why you refer to it as silly-people oft times do this when they can’t grasp something-demean it….and, by, the way, call my letter “silly” with your actual name. A head’s up for you……..what they expressed mostly that going after a man’s wife is offensive to them……..don’t shoot me-I’m just the messenger……I’ve heard this even before my letter went out……the letter is not silly to many people…..no exaggeration there
