This is an “at will state” and can fire you for no reason. Good or bad that is the way it is. There is an underlying reason for these firing. Mad house at work.

Let’s hope our professional lifeguards prevail and our unprofessional, corrupt Council goes to jail.
So, Brian McGovern was a Belmar lifeguard once? He is on the “search committee? And he sat up there like a silent dope instead of supporting these dedicated, hardworking, underpaid lifeguards. And he wants to run for mayor? I’d rather vote for Mr. Magoo!
Wilton doesn’t have a real committed job, he will be the new Supervisor in charge of the Lifeguards. Wait and see….
Wilton is a nice guy but this ain’t the nice guy club. He’s got no backbone. He’ll succumb to the stay at home dad & the queen of mean since they are drinking buddies. He talks out of both sides of his mouth. If were him I’d distance myself from the “trio” because when the guards don’t come back to work in Belmar it’s going to be a nightmare. That’s why there’s acting chief of cones…..you think he knows how to read a tide chart? he’ll pay himself copious amounts of OT to cone all of Belmar off. This will be the new norm….game on…have a nice Summer…..
Who cares what Wilton has to say ? Last I looked Lake Como (South Belmar) has no beach.
