Nicolay In Violation Of PAC $$ Ban…

When she voted to repeal it!

Just uncovered:REPORT1

down-arrowREPORT2

The reason why this was just uncovered is that it is not listed on any Nicolay campaign filings, a serious breach of state election law.  Not only is the true source of the donation concealed but the donation itself was concealed!  Considering that she did not recuse herself along with the mayor, how can last Tuesday’s Council vote even be legal?

Mrs. Nicolay, to the best of your ability, please define “corruption”. OK, try this word, “oversight” – including multiple meanings, if you please.

Wouldn’t Mrs Nicolay have to have some understanding of what a “pack $$ Ban” is to be in violation of a law?

Two candidates for Council last year- Nicolay being one of them, Burke the other spoke extensively about “transparency” in the Coast Star. They stated there was total transparency by our elected officials No es problem. I beg to differ. This is a very serious ethical complaint now pending against Council Woman Nicolay- clearly a conflict of interest via her failure to recuse herself on the vote last Tuesday.

Does one have to know that one is crooked in order to be called “crooked”? How about “ignorance is no excuse”? Who accounts to whom?

Bust all those rascals when found in violation. The mayor is so concerned about smearing council members. They are doing a good job of it to themselves by their actions and words. Just get the word out and exposure should do the rest.

Words/phrases come to mind. Unethical, hypocritical, self-serving, manipulating/betraying her own supporters by words vs. actions, voted to relax conflict of interest ordinance because she felt our previous ordinance was too restrictive. Really?!!

Mrs Nocolay can’t be thought to understand anything in an adult manner. All anyone has to do is listen to her childish babbling for a minute or two and they know she just does as she’s instructed. She’s completely without fault in this instance. If she didn’t recuse herself, it’s Matt’s fault for not telling her to.

Not sure Mrs. Nicolay is as dumb as made out to be. She is like the mayor, they do not make mistakes. The attorney instructed the mayor to recuse himself and the mayor had to comment, glibly, that he does not agree, but stepped down from the dais. If he did not believe he had an issue, how could Jennifer, as she and Doherty appear to be very chummy. Above the law, it is called.

Ms. Nicolay is solely responsible for her actions or inaction. That applies to how she conducts herself at Council meetings, and how her contributions are collected and processed. There’s no pass .. or pass the buck .. anymore. Its been too convenient use the plausible deniability ploy or a distracting jig to cover bad behavior in this town. Adults are all responsible and accountable for their actions.

I smell a big dirty rat! What’s the deal with the new Boro ordinance not allowing licensed year round bars from serving alcohol on their outside patios during parade day under threat of being closed down. It seems like our illustrious mayor is gunning for a little payback because the year round licenses opposed the March 1st start for the seasonal licenses. I wonder if they will be closing down the FSOS if some of the Shillelagh’s guests are sipping beer on their porch on parade day. It seems we have a Mayor and a Council with no independent thought. FYI … any patron of an unlicensed Main Street restaurant caught drinking an alcoholic beverage in their outside dining area are subject to arrest and the premises will be closed on Parade Day. Irish Eyes are smiling, but not on Mayor and Council on this parade day.

Check out their law enforcement strategies. Did anyone follow a trail to Jen and Lake Como?

Follow up on the total number of patrons allowed at Paul’s, Bar A, Mc Cann’s and Patty k’s at 2am.

We can’t handle Djais and the Boathouse emptying let alone being in charge of the other 10,000 revelers from Lake Cimo.
