Mr. Mayor, can you tell me who’s great idea it was to close the bathrooms today on the beachfront? If you want to send the gate people home because of a drizzle in the morning and not make any money that’s your business. It was beautiful from 12pm on. As an elderly season badge holder closing the bathrooms is a bad idea. I complained to the the lifeguards but they said to call DPW. Was this Campbell’s dumb idea?

The angry little dwarf Campbell is teflon. I’m sure it was his great idea to send the bathroom attendants home today with ZERO repercussions from any one of his superiors. He must have a lot of dirt on someone where he can get away with all the harm he has done to this town. He cares only about his angry little self.

I just read the Coast Star. Why is it BA Kirschbaum speaks for all Dept heads in town. The poor girl hit by tree, storm, lakes, etc. Let the police chief speak about police matters, Fire Chief speak about fires, first aid chief, DPW, etc. Your huge ego is worse than Dohertys. Stay inside at your desk and work on getting this town out of the fiscal mess it’s in. Let the experts talk for themselves. Just shut up!

There is a story that goes something like this, simplified: a drowning man treading water was praying for God to rescue him. A boat came near to help but the guy refused the help, saying that he is waiting for God to help him. Duh…what is wrong with simply being thankful for help in whatever guise it appears? Nitpick and gripe all you want out of hatred for the current administration, but I am grateful for the actions by these guys.

Goose Gander, it’s not the actions these guys are doing but the sleazy, sneaky way they were brought about to do it.

The weekend before the storm, lifeguards attempted to put up ‘no swimming’ red flags due to strong currents. A call came over the radio that they must take them down. If lifeguards in the stands feel that it is too dangerous to allow swimming, who made the call to over-ride them?
