    I think Salt should open as soon as they can, forget the liquor license for now. Make it BYOB with a corkage fee, or a cover charge. You figure it out. There are plenty of people that would like to help and why wait if you can start hosting people just not serving them. Sell Salt branded bottle openers and reusable cups until the transfer (and lawsuit) are complete.
