Party Bosses Fight For Their Picks

Flancbaum dropped out of Yeshiva in 1998 after a single semester and was made vice president of his father’s company.  Then in 2009, at age 28, he was appointed to run the Lakewood Municipal Utility Authority where he’s been ever since.

Thomson is a 64 year old actuary who has been a trustee of the New Jersey Public Employee Retirement System for 22 years and under 10 governors.

Both of these guys are the candidates of more of the same.  Frankly, they’re both putting me to sleep just thinking about them.

Then there’s Jim Bean.  A 44 year old Marine veteran and head of IT for a huge New Jersey company, he is the real candidate of change.  He certainly proved as a Belmar councilman, and it is all well documented on these pages, that he’s not the go-along, get-along, kind of politician that there’s currently about 79 too many of in the state Assembly.  I would love to see him shake that place up.  It’s what we need.

I don’t know if any LD30 Republican Committee members from outside Belmar are reading this, but if there’s any of you out there, and you want to actually try to fix the train wreck that our state government has become, you have to vote for Jim Bean at the convention Monday night.

Sorry Mr. Bean that the “Convention” is being held at Doherty Campaign Headquarters, the IBEW Local #400 Union Hall. The fix is in against you.
