Honey, I shrunk the ordinance.
Like in my post of January 28, this is the original ordinance that is currently in the books. The language in it that is not part of the new ordinance is highlighted. (There is nothing added to the new ordinance that wasn’t in the old ordinance.)

*In a-2 above, “zero ($0)” now reads “three hundred ($300)”.
Something else I noticed is that the original ordinance has 10 sections but due to the shrinkage it’s proposed replacement only has 7. The problem is that in the new ordinance references to other sections of the ordinance haven’t had their numbers adjusted. For example, the language in section 9-4 of the new ordinance used to be part of section 9-6. There are references in it to section 9-4 but it now is section 9-4 and the old 9-4 that was originally being referred to doesn’t even exist anymore.

I presume that making those corrections won’t be considered to be a significant enough change to warrant a reintroduction.

The whole thing is a joke. Matt Doherty is doing this for one reason- to get all that union and pass through money he so desperately craves and needs.
The Only reason the Mayor is proposing this is he is running for freeholder. The state and county have very specific rules, check out the board of trustees of Brookdale College for example, also a Notary Public Cannot sign off on any document that a friend or relative receives or will receive a benefit. He is a fake phony and fraud. This is a very watered down version.
Matt is as sleazy as it gets, even for New Jersey
