“I can safely say I have never seen the state of New Jersey in such bad condition with regard to its ability to pay for the needs of its transportation infrastructure. And I have never seen such a backlog of need from communities, frustrated businesses and residents, and concern from civil engineers as we see today.”
*******
It’s true that New Jersey is committing economic suicide and that residents are frustrated and are leaving the state in droves, but I can guarantee that not a single person moving out is doing so because we are “failing to properly fund” our transportation infrastructure. What a load of nonsense.
BTW, that guy standing there all the way on the right looks familiar.

That’s the Democrats drug of choice TAXES so they can misuse the funds for THEIR benefit not the people. When are the people going to wake up and get these politicians out on their keister!
leaving the state in droves

Well, he’s right about that. New roads will help people to continue to leave the state in droves.
Maybe we should build a couple of new (one-way) bridges to Pennsylvania
I don’t think Doherty is actually for this politically. Who wants higher gas prices, but his wife will make a lot more money if it passes.
NJ Future TV commercial with children singing “London Bridges Falling Down….” …. Yup! …. Let’s keep children out of politics.
My apologies to “NJ Future” …. should be “Forward NJ” …. NJ Future doesn’t use scare tactics and children.
What exactly is Forward NJ???? sounds like a socialist organization if so they should say so not hide behind intimidation.
