It’s going to be another under appointed haven for county and Belmar welfare cases.

I would hope that our very well paid police dept. will take a pro active stance with this re opening instead of relying on the surrounding neighbors to do their job for them. Start by checking the roster in a timely manor.

Hey, but at least not condos. Would be terrible to have pride of ownership and ratables. Woo hoo! Winning.

Condos have never been rejected. It is the amount of condos and the density on the property that was unacceptable.

Thank you NO ONE! For allowing this sh*t hole to reopen and contaminant our town.Great victory! A brand new high end building would have been unacceptable. Thanks

Maybe the White House at 2nd and Ocean can fall upon the same fate. Victory for Belmar!

does the Belmar Inn have good heat on a cold winter nite?

To guest 7.. why would you wish that for the White House? Sarcasm? 55 years of the same ownership and strictly a summer structure, not heated or insulated. Nothing like the Belmar Inn, very few violations over the decades open. Excellent record of safety. It has just outlived its life expectancy. The townhomes will be a great improvement for the oceanfront and all of Belmar.

Maybe now we can look forward to a more appropriate design for that 12th Ave property.
