    Hurry up and donate before the banning of the bags. In the future, consider using old pillow cases or recyclable cardboard boxes. Or how about using those too-small bags that Brennan had made and distributed. Yeah, use those.

    First of all, the plastic bag ban begins May 1, 2019. Second of all, it’s compliance is meant for local businesses. Shop Rite donates these specially printed bags for all of the Monmouth Council Scout Troops for this yearly food drive. We pick up the filled bags the following week and the bags are then disposed of. And, helping feed those in need is definitely Scout-like. Also, we checked with Belmar before distributing them.
