Speaking of Signs:
Since “Belmar resident” tied to rip me a new one on this week’s Patch. I might as well get started with a real boycott.
Please feel free to add once you see a Belmar Business with a Vote Yes or worse multiple vote Yes signs.
Busy B Laundrette, owned by our Zoning Officer Ted Bianchi.
Salon Marsal- owned by the former ( joke intended) President of BBP
Bar A- Lake Como. go figure
10th Ave. Burrito- not the only reason not to go there, read the reviews.
Vote Yes to raise my taxes.
How stupid can people be?
No new taxes for the 4th year from Matt but just add the coming increase in your water bill and it makes up for it big time. Use less water, stop bushing your teeth.
Thanks Everyone:
The boycott List sure is getting bigger.
I will add Brandl and
East Coast Brewery- gee not even operating and already being boycotted.
I know some will boo me for this, and that is ok. I too do not think businesses should be posting a sign, and I am a retired businessman. However, I don’t think the boycotting them is a way to go. The last time I checked we are all allowed to express ourselves. I don’t think any individual would like to go an establishment and be refused service because of a sign on their own private property…..I have a No sign, does that NO sign mean, for example, that if my wife wants me to take her to Brandle’s for dinner that we will not be allowed service? The whole concept of this issue, of political views being a rational for boycotting just does not sit well with me, but,its just my opinion. Hell, I went to D’Jais for lunch yesterday, you had better not read any more of my posts. I will end by saying, yes, it is your individual right to boycott. I do not personally think any more or any less of you because of it, its just not my cup of tea.
Tom:
Sorry you missed the “tongue N cheek” here. “Belmar resident” after trashing Joy two weeks ago, wrote an article and posted it on the Patch this week. Headline was Anti-Pavilion Leader Calls for Boycott. Like her attack on Joy, she was trying to silence us.
This whole thing started when I simply
responded to SOMEONE ELSE’s Post on this sight recommending a boycott. I posted that personally I do boycott.
You know that I was both Treasurer and President of the Jamesburg Area
Chamber of Commerce. I also started the BNI in Monroe Twp. Jamesburg. When the Belmar Chamber sent a contribution to Jennifer Nicolay and you ran against her and you were a Chamber Member, I PERSONALLY boycotted.
Hopefully you don’t believe that I am a leader. That I am the leader of an Anti-Pavilion Group and that I would call all those who follow my leadership in an organized boycott.
Sorry you missed my dry humor and sarcasm. I will try to clean that up.
Certainly, I love Jeopardy. But in NO WAY will you get a vowel at the beginning- O’Ehmann, if you catch my drift Vito. Let’s go to Pagano’s- Bradley, my favorite, someday have a glass of red vino and curse in Italian, You know I grew up in Trenton and hung out in the
“Burg”. I still have the cannoli, but can’t find my gun.Chow.
