Belmar is a Beach and Bar destination NOT a place to raise a family and have a nice quality of life, screw the taxpayers, so what if there is graffiti and signs in disrepair ,drunks peeing and puking on your lawn and blocking your driveway.
Life appears very peaceful on Inlet Terrace, and there is a sign that diagrams the area around the lagoon. The addresses there are confusing, hence the sign. Maybe it should just say, “Stay away.”
As you know I am a billionaire. I have done very well for myself. I make good business decisions. This Doherty guy moves into Belmar
starts a mortgage company because someone tell him that there will be all this redevelopment and he’ll make a ton of money. He went out of business in a year. So, this guy runs for State Assembly and gets slonged. You know, I mean he looses his shirt in the election. So he runs for Borough Council. You know at this point he has lived here what? two years. He gets lucky the Republican makes a big deal about rats at the local Yashiva, Oih! Now the Jews hate he and Mr. Know-nothing gets elected. But there’s no money. Finally just as he is elected mayor by a few votes and Hurricane Sandy comes. Now he’s rich. But he didn’t earn it.
#3-Voter Maybe it would be nice to live on the south end of Ocean Avenue…no, wait, it is a noisy hazard zone because of a certain establishment. Isn’t it also odd that D’Jais’ tax assessment went down $315,000.00 dollars? I thought the point of business development was to increase the tax inflow to offset the residential taxes. How many pizza shops and boutiques can be taxed to make up that $315K?
