So sad that Mat used this incident as propaganda and made comments as if he was involved.

Obviously Matt has only one agenda and that is to try and find a job either as Freeloader or with the state.

Over a year ago he came to my house to pitch a plan to either tear down the Library or move it and replace it with 3 homes. This was actually one year before the 100 year celebration of the library and he wanted to tear it down???

I told him my neighbors and I would fight that plan and it finally went away.

Last week I went to the Library to complain about the bench on the Library lawn that is facing my house. Over the past few years that bench has been mainly used by drunks and homeless people. They sit there and stair at my house and my daughters or me and my wife?

I was told that it has a plaque on it from someone on the previous Library board and it is cemented in. I told them that it might be a better honor for this person if the bench actually face the Library instead of my house.

If they turned the bench around people could actually sit and watch when Pat Roddy plays instead of looking at me and my Family.

Someone from the Library actually came to my house and spoke to my daughter…pitching the same garbage about the plaque and difficulty of moving it. My daughter actually repeated what I told them…I am not looking to have it removed just let the drunks…I mean people look at the library and not my house.

Apparently there will be a meeting in SEPTEMBER to decide my fate. If they can take out the very nice former library wooden sign out and put in that UGLY Walmart lighted up billboard looking sign I am sure they will be able to turn around a bench.

    Only in the new Belmar

Volunteers could sign liabilty waivers and the stupid placement could be corrected.

Cooperation would be needed from the trustees.

Brian come on Pat Roddy is not allowed/hired to play Belmar events anymore , he must have signed something! That how this town works now. Can’t wait to see who is left holding the bag on Salt, my money is he leaves it on the Drew and the Belmar PD.

#5 Brian if they are drunk and homeless you should call the PD and they will relocate them. Make sure you keep an eye on them they are candidates for Claire and her gang to fill out mail in ballots.

He played at the Library this summer. I heard he was banned from playing Pyanoe Plaza for signing a petition. He is 110% Belmartian but thats how they roll in the new Belmar.

#5 Brian, Matt could get a job with the state he would be great driving the truck that fills the potholes, also the Post Office is looking for mail carriers, but he would probably screw that job up too.

The drunks and the homeless are actually two different groups. The homeless who stop there are not drunk just looking for a place to hang. I shouldn’t have to call the police. The town should enforce quality of life issues. I should not have a bench on the library facing my property! It is really creepy.
