Can someone tell me how this works? Do the candidates run head to head for council or do the candidates with the two highest vote totals get the seats?
If both Council seats were open for full terms that would be the case. This year, however, the seat that Jennifer currently holds is up for election for a full term and Pat Want is running against her. The seat that Mark Levis holds is only part way through its term so the election is to finish out Brian’s term. Jim McCracken is running for that one. You could vote for Levis and Wann but you can’t vote for Levis and McCracken.

Wow, bullet voting in Belmar. You’d think this was Hudson County.
Mine says “paid for by Levis for council 904 13th Ave, Belmar 07719
Run away Mr Levis. Run away. Those two will drag you down.
Even if Mr. Levis is OK, the stench from other Dems will taint him by association. Sorry, but cleaning house 100% is important.

Wiley coyote afoot. Whoever would have thunk i? Again the voters are being mislead!
Marketing genius to confuse the voters in the booth. Notice the individual signs didn’t come out until after the absentee deadline?
