State A.G. : Return $1 Mil FEMA Overpayment

I don’t know why it’s addressed to Colleen.  Maybe we should just forward it to her.

AND WHO IS THE APPLICANT REP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE 2ND PAGE? ROBBIN. AND A HAND WRITTEN NOTE NEXT TO HER NAME THAT APPLICANT IS NOT RESPONSIVE (?) TO SOMETHING…CAN’T READ THE HANDWRITING. DID ROBBIN EVER SEE ANY OF THIS PAPERWORK OR SIGN OFF ON IT?

No it can’t be. Didn’t you read the comments from the people that were outraged that anyone dare suggest that Robin (the CFO) had anything to do with this boondoggle? You know, the people that have since fallen silent. The people that were so utterly offended that Robin’s name be connected to this in any way, yet now for some strange reason aren’t making a peep.

Applicant not responsive. Means she didn’t sign the document and most likely didn’t respond to Inquiries. Imagine Colleen as the CFO right now. This would have just been swept under the rug. Probably a phone call to Atlantic City asking what should I do ? I am sure the response would have been don’t worry it’s just a frivolous letter file it in the trash.

all Borough mail goes to PO Box A, 07719 … even certified mail … the mail is picked-up via key and taken to the municipal building.

During the previous regime … I know for a fact that the addressee didn’t always get their mail piece

Are you saying that Robin’s signature may have been forged? That would certainly be something concrete to get Colleen on. A forgery and mail fraud charge against Colleen (and, dare to dream, Matt) would certainly soften the blow of all this money we have to pay. Any former or current boro employees want to chime in here? Any knowledge of such activities?

Do we know what happened after this letter in July, for example did the State Police go and arrest Colleen Connolly and put her in debtors prison? What was the reply, from whom and do we have access to a copy? Has there been further correspondence or are they still looking for the addressee who may be hiding in some state office? the public ,especially taxpayers want to know.

#7 Another possibility is that Colleen screened all mail and fed to whomever she thought should have it.

So what did Colleen or Robin do with this extra $1M they had their hands on? Where did it disappear to? Perhaps M&C should invite these people along with Matt to the next meeting to explain. Maybe just a simple invite via certified mail from our Mayor. Show us the effort Mayor with proof at the next meeting.

Look at the bills paid lists after the money was received. Beach balls, lots of important stuff. Shirts with logos are more reasonable than stupid beach balls, etc.
