Did an administrator from Belmar, assign work tasks and monitor that the work was actually completed. If someone knowingly approved his invoice, for work which was not performed, that individual is guilty as well.

I would not be suprised if the Mayor and administration were not aware of these doings and in approval of it being that this is not the only employee of Belmar who has been alleged or rumored to have been doing the same for years.I am sure that if they dig deep enough they will find several employees have been taking advatage of that system for year and publicly bragged about doing so around town. They could start with the DPW department. It very sad what has become of Belmar and its reputation.

HaHaHa. This is great. Please take note that these are FEDERAL CHARGES. Glad to see little ole Belmar is under their eye. Hopefully they dig a little deeper. Lets hope John rolls over and agrees to testify against the bigger fish. I can assure you that if this was have been handled by the local prosecutors office, this would have been swept away and neer a word told about it. Gotta be careful when dealing with federal money gentlemen.

Admin – This could be the can opener that starts an investigation into the whole town and its finances. Top to bottom.

And don’t think for a minute that Joe didn’t cut a deal w/the state. Wouldn’t be surprised if more people get jammed up.

If you were a local and knew Joe Sr., you got a break. It was basically a social gathering. Him and Sunny Bono would each have a cup of coffee, maybe some eggs & toast and that was it.

Look at the businesses on 10th ave especially! The north side of 10th ave was an inside job with its inspection for sure.

According to the Belmar web-site/Code Enforcement, John is still the Fire Official. Pretty embarrassing. Does someone actually get paid taxpayer money to ovesee this site??? DTS. Stop wasting our money.

There was a fire in the recent past on 6th Avenue, I believe, under investigation, where the neighbor’s and the house across the street were also damaged from the heat. Result lost in bureaucracy’s paper pile?

#11) Speaking of 10th Ave, check out the true north side property line of 10th Ave Burrito property and compare it to where their outside bar is.

Fire suppression is needed under permanent tents at place like burrito, as per code, or the tents have to be taken down seasonally.
