I thought that when the governor vetoed the extension of these seasonal liquor licenses (this past year) when it came across his desk, it could not come back up for another three years. Did I miss something?

Joan, that is not how the legislature works. They can reintroduce that bill every session. In fact, they can change one word and pass it.
What about the license for 9th Avenue Pier? Is that year round?
On municipal property they can hand out as many as they want.

Why isn’t all this effort put into wholesome things like building a senior community bldg for activities and meals and expanding the size of the library

I think a letter to the editor at the Coast Star alerting the other affected towns to this potential nightmare should be sent. This would obliviously not be good pub for his current political ambitions and it would let everyone know what is happening. Not every town has Dave !!!
