….And joins George Komitas and Clair Deicke as one of Belmar’s Immortals.
Personally I don’t think we should have such a thing as “Citizen of the Year”. I think it’s divisive, really serves no purpose except for the politics of it and the whole thing just seems kind of stupid. But if we had to have such a thing I think Frannie Hines would have been a good choice this year.
(BTW, not that I would ever have accepted but I heard a few people submitted my name and that their suggestions never made it up on to the Facebook page for some reason.)

Dear Mayor, I would like to vote for David Schneck as Belmar citizen of the year. No person in Belmar has done more work, with no pay, to help the citizens of Belmar stay informed and to bring clarity to the sometimes confusing issues in Belmar. Whether you agree with him or not, he works tirelessly to keep the Belmar people up to date, so they can make better decisions in the future. I say 3 cheers to Dave!
Please consider Dave Schneck for Belmar citizen of the year.

Beginning with George was O.K., but Volker should be partisan of the year. So sad really.
Thanks for the chuckle. As a member of St. Rose – this one really made me giggle. (The graphics)
Funniest graphic ever. Almost makes me want to go to church. Thank you, Dave the Revelator.
Love seeing my face in saintly garb!
