Trying To Avoid Being Homeless

Still haven’t found a place to live in while we build the new house so we’re heading up there later in week to look.

When you search on Zillow or Craigslist and click “dogs ok” about 90% of the listings disappear.  What we’re left with right now that are big enough for us and within 20 minutes or so of the property are these four.

Hopefully one of them will be the one and we can sign a lease.

Isn’t it high season up there Dave? Would it improve after September?

Change it’s name to Boots and call it a cat. It may expand your options. And don’t even bring up the S word. You may have to go to vaping for a few months.

will be out of here soon and searching for a rental with 3 cats and a dog.. in my experience – pet owners are typically more responsible.. (in most cases) Ask if you can give a larger security deposit in case of damage/extra cleaning.. some may flex. As for the smoking.. I hate it.. you cannot get the smell out of a home that has been smoked in.. we had a smoker in a room here.. she has been gone for 4 years.. after cleaning the walls, priming, and painting, getting rid of area rug.. the smell still lingers.. nasty habit.. quit and you will get to enjoy your next phase a little longer 😉 good luck!
