Beach badges now on sale. $70 but even if you pick them up, there is a processing fee of $4.33 What a ripoff. They are now wristbands instead of badges( the badge pin used to ruin your clothes).

How bout charging the fee to out of towners only. I already pay thru my taxes those responsible to process them. Gotta make up for that 83k un-needed job I guess. This town is sinking FAST.

There is a $2.00 fee if you pay in person and a $1.00 fee if you pay in person for a senior badge. I am not sure if there is an additional fee on top of that, for credit card in person buyers.
They had computer problems yesterday. I paid on-line (74.33) and gave them my screen print and picked up my badge. Took 15 minutes due to computer problems.
$10 for mailing ( no limit on the amount you can have mailed as long as it is one package) is still a crazy over-priced scam.

How can you charge a different “fee” for regular badge vs. standard badge? Is there more work involved? Otherwise it has to be a violation of some sort. Please describe what the “fee” is for. Can you buy a badge without some sort of “fee”? If not, then increase the price of the badge by the “fee”, and scrap the whole “fee” term. I am tired of “fees” and “taxes”. Especially in this town. Perhaps the “fee” goes into a different acoount to pay for Housman un-needed salary, whether it’s part time or full time or seasonal or whatever the mayor wants to describe it this month.

I think you mean Regular badge vs. senior badge. I agree. The only difference is one is blue and one is pink. Blue one says Senior.

I urge all who purchase badges to pay the “fee” in pennies. Yep. All 200 of them in a cup. You will be doing the Salvation Army a service. They claim coin usage is down during the COVID times. Spread more coins around, particularly on the counter.

It amazes me how Huisman can even show his fain this town. Knowing he continues to rob the taxpayers everyday. Kirschenbaum is no better for allowing it.
