And as far as this settlement goes ( I do trust Walsifer’s judgement as he tried suing Belmar in 2002 and lost), have Cone Man hueisman, Tommy B and all these John Does come before the residents and explain why this cost is good for all of us. Can’t wait to see how many millions the Harmons are getting.
So how much are the plaintiffs and defendants legal fees and increased insurance premiums, associated with the Elms case, going to cost Belmar taxpayers in addition to the settlement?

Belmar citizens need to come to the Mayor and Council meeting and when given the opportunity demand that the budget gets cut before raising taxes. We need to be vocal and come out in numbers See you all there.
120k of which at least 60k is uninsured. Aside from myself how many other boro taxpayers would love to see Connelly,Doherty and the rest of the crew responsible pick up the tab for the very unnecessary expense? This is another glaring example of bad judgement from the leaders resulting in no cost to themselves but with the poor schemiels[?] picking up the tab. This next crew better do a far superior job or instead of leaders we will have tar and feathers sitting on the dais. And while i am at it let me endorse the comments of the Commish.

Sadly what not so average Joe [#12] said is all too true. We have been a leader in a negative way in being out of control ,so ok Walsifer needs to show us that we can return to sound and efficient management and it needs to be done right off the gitgo.
