Unintentional Censorship

We’re all  having a great time up here at Porcfest.  I’ve learned a lot and have seen a lot of great speakers and we’ve all made new friendships.  Even my little dog Sophie is making lots of friends

The only downside is that the internet here is like something out of Green Acres.  (It must be run by Mr. Haney.)  Basically it tosses you out and forces you to log back in if you try to go to a different page or if you stay on the same page for more than 5 minutes.  I’ve lost a lot of work so I’ve given up on it for now.

Anyway, I am looking at my stopwatch and see I only have about 25 seconds left but I do have something very important I want to tell you and it’s tha

    Teaching was supposed to be something a young woman could do to support herself before she was married. Not something a woman was supposed to make a career of. Her career was/is supposed to be wife and mother.

Was named to Who’s Who Among Armeirca’s Teachers (this award was recommended by fomrer students)-and received The Teacher of The Year-Governor’s award-recommended for this by parents and fellow teachers-since you brought it up..not boasting, giving you the facts-…thought you might be interested in these honors….. Truly, support for the Mayor is mounting-believe it or not–loved that you brought God, my teaching career and politics into one statement-think I struck a nerve-my aquaintances and I are so pleased that things are going well here in Belmar-thanks to Mayor Doherty-the town is humming, the beachfront is really prospering, and residents are happy-with my 48 year residency, you can only imagine how many people I know-…..so I do have a sense of how people view our Mayor and sitting council Dems-thanks for your kind words….let’s do another exchange of ideas soon…….continue to pray foe the children I taught…..I know they’d appreciate it….

I stayed home many years so that my children had me at home-didn’t go back to teaching until they were in the second and fourth grades…..and then my work hours were compatible with their school hours, -also my husband is pretty happy with me-always have tended to the house….and cook dinnner every night..love to cook and create new dishes.always have.-love being a wife, mother and grandmother! Love pleasing my wonderful family……See? You and I have the same family values…
