…..No Inkling, and No Humility.
“Keep us happy and safe”? Who will be happy when taxes have to increase because of accumulated debt and future expenses from pending lawsuits from the local Dems’ shenanigans? Besides, it is not government’s role to keep people happy, unless one goes for the “opium of the people” bit, and that is the role of religion according to Karl Marx. Only thing makes me “happy”, more like pleased, is that the Dems lost and the smug and arrogant looks upon some faces will fade away. Time to face hard facts. Sorry, Jen, that your happiness may depend upon your role in Belmar’s government. Don’t choke on the sour grapes. And, Brian, go bounce some basketballs.
Hopefully Mark does the right thing, otherwise this is all for nothing.
Get rid of the Queen of Mean.
Hire a qualified CFO.
Make Capt. Cone the Chief and no more “Acting Chief” with all the Overtime he wants for him and his select officers.
Organize the Police Department and eliminate the unlimited Overtime.
Organize the DPW and stop the unjustified Overtime.
Do the right thing Mark!
Rumor has it that Queen of Mean is seriously being considered for CFO position, a position she has zero experience in. Clearly Dopey Magoo wants to just hand her a job and could care less that SHE is the primary reason he lost! If he truly cared about Belmar he would make the right decision and do what most other companies/towns do and and hire the MOST qualified experienced applicant. Would she be hired at a salary of an inexperienced entry level CFO and take a huge pay cut…probably not!!! I’m sure MAGOO will make sure she is well taken care of before he exits. January 1st can’t come soon enough

#3…they also need to tell the DPW director to be a little nicer to the residents who pay his salary and mega bonuses. And if Colleen does get the CFO position, she needs to be respectful to the borough employees until she gets caught mishandling the money and loses her job.

If Walsifer allows Connolly to become CFO he should be impeached. His campaign hinged on getting rid of her. Period!
A continuation of #3 the marina fiasco, Fabio”hurt shoulder man on Borough time” not done while surfing on Borough time has got to go. Maybe when he comes off getting better he might not have a useless job of being the Dockmaster of mean. These jobs are a privilege not a right. Drain the whole swamp from the top down.
#9-Since Walsifer is not the Mayor at the time of the new CFO being hired it is a bit unfair to say he should be impeached. Keep in mind he is the only Republican on the council and unfortunately we know Dems like to stick together. Perhaps if Robbin Kirk had held on till early next year we would have at a much better chance of getting rid of Queen of Mean.
She must not be the CFO. If she does get the job then fire her along with plenty others. Make it an above average day for firing people.
#9…At this point, that is a ridiculous thing to say. Mark has no control over the CFO right now. I wouldn’t be surprised though if Robbin was asked to retire at this specific time when Colleen realized that Mark had a good chance of winning the election.
Uh, Brian, the reason you lost is because you were nothing but a puppet with no independent thoughts whatsoever. Same holds true for Jennifer. The people of Belmar were finally fed up. I’m sure they’ll be some drastic measures taken by the new administration just to clean up the mess you left. On a last note, a man who really cares about the town wouldn’t force an unqualified, political hack on the new administration as the CFO. Maybe on the way out you do the right thing and leave the decision up to the new administration. Odds are you won’t.
Some of you may want to go the the Belmar Website and read the agenda for next weeks meeting. Apparently they’re appointing a new cfo, and that can only mean one thing.
Council meeting Tuesday night to decide on incoming CFO. All us residents need to attend to voice why Colleen is the LEAST qualified applicant. Every voice MATTERS. I love this town way too much to risk any chance of her getting this job. If we don’t speak up and unite we have no one to blame but ourselves. How many of us have waited long enough to say enough is enough
The future Mayor Mark Walsifer will not
be sworn in until Jan.1. Anything that happens before that is happening because the sitting Mayor orders it not

the best, most qualified,experienced Certified Financial Officer who has proven Integrity, is trust worthy, Ethical, Honest, Incorruptible and Bondible by Belmar Insurance Standards?
I’m sure the “consultants” they hired are in bed with the Dems and probably contributed to their failed campaign. If there were qualified applicants that applied and they recommended Connolly for the position then we know it was rigged from the start. And, this company should be shamed on social media.
It’s called Government Strategy Group. I can’t find any connection with them to the Belmar Dems.
