Wednesday’s Agenda Updated*

Yes, Wednesday. The first June meetings are always pushed ahead a day because of the primary.  Today was originally supposed to be primary day.

Resolutions here.

Ordinances here.

*A resolution amending the 2020 temporary budget was pulled from the agenda.  Thank you April for the update.

Mayor Walsifer, Council President Brennan and fellow council. Can any of you explain to me why our “business administrator Kirschendumb” was in Asbury Park last night with his “boro vehicle”? I have a friend who is an Asbury cop who said they were all wondering who this guy is telling the other cops how great he was and this would never happen if he was still a cop. They asked him why is he even there and his response was because some of “MY” guys were here. Meaning some Belmar officers lending support to Asbury which is fine. Kirschendumb is not the police chief. Hes a civilian business administrator. He is not the emergency management director in Belmar and certainly not Asbury. He is the assistant to the other do nothing guy Cinelli. This guy and his huge ego needs to be reeled or fired. There were other things told to me about his actions last night that I will not say because I dont have proof. All I do know is that he was an embarrassment and had no business being there as a Belmar representative. M&C please do something.

This is exactly the same crap he pulled here in Neptune City as the civilian public safety director. Zipping around town in his white unmarked car, lights and siren blaring. He would be the first to speak to the media about investigations instead of letting the police handle it. His ego has always been huge. He doesn’t know his place. Thank god our mayor came to his senses and did not renew his contract and promoted a chief from within our department. I feel bad for Belmar.

Ed Kirschenbaum is a credit to our community. I’m glad he is Belmar’s business administrator. He has been involved in many positive activities and accomplishments. He’s assisted many residents with issues involving the borough. He listens, gathers information, and makes things better for our residents. I’m so pleased he’s part of our Belmar community!

Being the business administrator in Belmar comes with an automatic dislike no matter who held the position. ( going back many years) Too easy a target to constantly criticize even when they do a credible job.

With Borough Admin Kirschenbaum, what you see is what you get. Would you rather have sweet-voiced weasel Colleen? Or political hack Bill Young? Mr. K. is OK by me.
