The beach was littered with trash this morning and not a trashcan in site on the beach. When there are two 90+ degree days it would make sense for DPW to put a few trashcans on the beach. A good manual beach sweep was needed but instead DPW was trying to get it all picked up with the John Deere. All that was doing was mashing the trash further into the sand.
Is there any truth that the public safety pavilion will not be ready in time for summer and that the lifeguards will work out of a trailer and shed again? I’m hearing that the contractor is out of money. If this is true, this is an embarrassment of epic proportions. Priorities…
Seeing is believing. Maybe a cracked media specialist will find out the scoop behind the supposed Safety building priority schedule in Belmar. $tatting to sound like another Lake Como watershed disaster?

If they get enough trash (piled) then dunes will not be necessary.
That’s it: Fresh Kills Landfill Dunes Belmar style.
Well the Dpw was busy all week installing the drain in the parking lot in the marina, guess for who.

Yeah, weird that the safety building seems stalled. If it was a bar would have been done much sooner.
Is it an Epic disaster?
“Safety Building” Nah, better wording is [Clubhouse].
