Barring any unforeseen circumstance it looks like I’ll be pulling up the stakes and leaving town August 27 or August 28. I still have no idea what to do about the blog. Should I keep it going, at least for now? Does it make sense for someone who doesn’t even live here anymore to be writing a blog about the place? Can I make up for my lack of physical presence by having all of you be my eyes, ears and OPRA requestors? Would you continue checking in every day like most of you currently do even if I’m in Hampton, New Hampshire and maybe I occasionally write about what’s going on up there?

BTW, even if the poll results come in strongly for me to continue I’m not making any promises how long I will continue. But as long as it’s fun to write I will always do what is fun.

I for one will miss the information provided to me by this blog. I wouldn’t know about half the sleazy things that go one behind the scenes in this town of it wasn’t for the admins research. I applaud you for all your work. I hope you continue to keep us informed for years to come. You will be missed.

I can’t imagine that after going through all this that we would ever want to move again, but if we did I would never live in a place that fines you $1000 for smoking on the beach.
The beach in this town has always been the Golden Goose like it or not.I can’t tell you how long it has been since I stepped a foot on the beach. I stayed until my kids were old enough to go without doing foolish things. They loved it. But when they married they
felt as though they couldn’t afford to buy in Belmar and went else where.
Wherever you are life is to short to be miserable so try N.H. But if you change
your mind all of the surrounding towns can’t be like Belmar is and has been.

#16. Who are you to decide that the job is done? In a town in the shape Belmar is no work is far over. It is and will always be there if people do not hear
And listen to what is going on and then
try to fix it. This at one time was a town that was a pleasure. It is a nightmare now and will be because it is a money maker. But you can’t park drive from point A to B or walk on sidewalks
If you had to. The beach front is a story of it’s own. No ones work is far over.
