Joy DeSanctis saw this on Facebook and sent it to me:
She probably doesn’t remember that the light bulb was the symbol of my “Common Sense” independent campaign for Council in 2010.
I even gave out free light bulbs from my table at the Fall Festival that year. Here I explain the simple virtues of the incandescent light bulb to Congressman Frank Pallone.

I can see the politicians lining up to be chairman of this new dept. First thing they’d do is select a sub-committee to look into the proper title of the new dept. (of course, there’d have to be a stipend for the sub-committee members). Possibly the sub-committee would find need to select a sub-committee of their own after many months fruitless study and fierce infighting over the topic (what exactly was the topic???). At each sub-committee meeting of course, there’d be proper hors-dorvs and plentiful libations.
Etc., etc., etc.
They’ll also have to pay me royalties for the use of the name.
Good luck, as common sense is not common, by any means. The light is still well hidden under the bushel around this town, except for what is exposed by the admin. of this site. Bad things thrive in the dark, like ignorance.

Unfortunately we have the voters to thank, the politicians we know who they are local state and federal do what they want once they get in.
